Please Pray for our Goal of May 2020

Hello, from a fellow believer and co-laborer in Jesus Christ.

My name is Bro. John Launderville.

My family and I would like the opportunity to personally share our burden for the people of Ghana, West Africa and present our ministry of church planting to you and your church.
I would like to say that every burden begins with a look. It says in Lamentations 3:51 “Mine eye affecteth mine heart.” Jesus also said in John 4:35 “ Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” My burden for Ghana began with my first mission trip in November of 2015, and God transformed that burden into an official Call to go after my second trip in July of 2016. I surrendered to go to Ghana as a full time Church planting missionary July 17, 2016. Our sending Church is Faith Baptist Church in Waverly,Virginia and our Pastor is Lewis Lawson.

My Testimony I received Christ as my Saviour at the age of 6 years old. It was my dad that led me to Lord at the Good News Baptist Church in VA Beach, VA. I clearly remember the Word of God being preached on a Wednesday night and I came under Holy Ghost conviction. I recognized my need for a Saviour leaned over and told my dad I wanted to be saved. He took me to the prayer room on the right hand side of the church and there I prayed to receive Christ. This experience of salvation is vividly imprinted upon my memory and has been the controlling focus of my life. The Lord called me to preach when I was 15 years old under the ministry of Al Day at Bible Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA. I met my wife Carrie at our home church Faith Baptist Church and she is the mother of our 5 children John Jr, Carl, Melinda, Paula, and Samuel. She received Christ at the age of 8 years old under the preaching of Bro. Jim Pruitt.

As Missionaries to Ghana West Africa our desire is to carry the simple plan of salvation to the people of Ghana. God has laid upon our hearts a specific area of Ghana known as the Western Region.
 1. Our foremost goal is to Evangelize the Western Region of Ghana.
 2. Establish new converts through discipleship, teaching and preaching of the Word of God.
 3. Plant Independent Baptist Churches in the Western Region.
 4. Start a Bible institute to train nationals.
 5. Turn each church started over to a national pastor.

Acts 16:10 “And after he had seen the vision immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. “
