January - February Prayer Letter
Dear Friends and Partners,
We hope and pray that each and everyone of you all are experiencing good health and the abundant life that God intended for His children. John 10:10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. We have experienced God’s presence in several of our meetings and it’s a joy to see God move on the seen and take control of the service.
We want to thank God for His protection as we travel. In January we had several meetings in TN and as we were coming out of the mountains of TN down to Wilson, NC we started to here some strange sounds coming from the engine. We made it all the way to Wilson and just as we were pulling into the church the brakes went out in our van. The vacuum pump that runs the brakes on our diesel had broke. God protected us the entire way by keeping it going until we came to where it could be fixed. Had the pump failed on the highway we could have had a major accident. God blessed above and beyond by allowing churches to help us with the repair bill. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. This is my life verse and not a day goes by that God don’t allow me to see the numbers 8:28 somewhere on a clock or sign in which I instantly remember God’s grace and leadership in my life as described in this verse. All things good or bad are used by God to work for our good.
Praise God our support level is about 20%. We are fully booked through April and much of May. We are now Full-time Deputation. The Lord began to deal with my heart about going full-time deputation at the end of January. I hesitated at first but God reminded me that our life is a walk of faith, so I obeyed, shut down my business and watched God prove to me He could take care of us. Please pray for us to be able to contact Pastors and continue to book 8 to 12 meetings a month.
Please pray about our upcoming survey trip to Ghana the end of May into June. We have been busy trying to get all the passports, visas and shots taken care of. The cost of yellow fever shots has doubled but we know God can supply all our needs. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
